Exercises (Spring 2008)

On this page you will find all the material associated with the exercises (in PDF-format). The homework exercises will be available on this page about a week before the corresponding exercise class. By doing homework exercises one gets bonus points for the examination. We recommend you to try to solve the exercises by yourself as they will be very similar to the problems in the examination!

Homework exercises:

3 problems per week
available on the web about a week before the corresponding exercise class
no retrieval of solutions (instead you have to be present)
in the beginning of the exercise class, mark the problems you have solved beforehand
you can mark if you are ready to present your solution
1 homework point per a marked exercise
one additional homework point for electronically given course feedback
totally 6*3+1=19 homework points available

Bonus point thresholds (decreased by one on 5.3.08):

9 homework points = 1 bonus point in the examination
13 homework points = 2 bonus points in the examination
17 homework points = 3 bonus points in the examination
