Exercises (Spring 2005)

On this page you will find all the material associated with the exercises (in PDF-format). The exercises will be available on this page about a week before the corresponding exercise class. A part of the exercises will be demonstrated at the class (typically 1 demo per week). In addition to these demonstrations, there will be homework exercises (typically 2 homework exercises per week). By doing homework exercises one gets extra points for the examination. We recommend you to try to solve the exercises by yourself as they will be very similar to the exercises in the examination!

Homework exercises:

• do beforehand
• mark the problems you have solved in the beginning of the exercise class
• you can mark if you are ready to present your solution
• depending on the exercise, 1-2 points available per exercise
• no retrieval of homework exercises, but you have to be present in the exercise class and mark the exercises by yourself to get the points

Bonus point thresholds:

• 9 homework points = 1 extra point in the examination
• 19 homework points = 2 extra points in the examination
• 28 homework points = 3 extra points in the examination

NOTE: Bonus points are valid for 1 year. The current homework points are shown here.
