S-38.122 Telecommunication Switching Technology II (2 cr)

Course Topic: The course covers routing at the functional level in the circuit and packet switched networks. It particularlyl includes the routing algoritms and some of the routing protocols that form the foundation of the Internet and the latest progress in these networks.
To Whom: The course is a fundamental course meant for under-graduate students who have common interests in switching and routing technologies in telecommunication networks and IP networks.
Course Completion: Through finishing exercises and passing the examination, you may get 2 credits.
This course is replaced by S-38.121 Routing in Communication Networks from the season 2001-2002 onwards.
