S-38.130 Postgraduate Course in Telecommunications Technology (P)

Each participant is responsible to hand out two (2) homework exercises in the subject on which he gives the presentation. Use the problems found in Ross' book [1], or device new ones by yourself. Inform the course assistant Samuli Aalto of the selected problems latest on Friday preceding the presentation. Deal the problems to the other participants in connection with your presentation. Solve the problems, and present the solution of one (1) problem on next Monday (during the exercises class). The solution of the other problem is given in writing. Examine the solutions given by the others. Use the following trinary classification:

• 1, if the solution is essentially OK;
• ½, if about a half is OK;
• 0, otherwise.

In addition, each participant is responsible to solve at least 11 of the homework exercises given by the other participants. Note that the total number of solved problems affects your final evaluation (by 1/3).
