The deadline of the CAE exercise was intentionally scheduled later than
last year in order to give the students more time to do the exercise.
However, when the exercise schedule was planned it was not noticed that
the first exam of the course is already on Tuesday, 4th May. That is less
than a week after the CAE exercise (this year Exercise 2) deadline.

Because the deadline of Exercise 2 (28.4.) and the exam (4.5.) are so
close to each other, there will be an optional deadline for the exercise
on Tuesday, 13th April for those students who want to get the results
in good time before the exam. The results of the exercises returned before
the optional deadline will be published on the same week (week 16).  Next
time the exercises will be graded after the original deadline (28.4.), and
the results will be published as soon as possible - in any case before the
exam. In this situation, students are not required to register to the exam
a week beforehand, as usually, as the exam registration in Topi will not
be closed until on Monday, 3rd May, at 12.00.
