My area of teaching and reserach is Networking Technology. Our major, Networking Technology, prepares telecommunication system and networking specialists (switching and data communications paths). Our second major, Telecommunications Management, together with Professors Hämmäinen, Autio and Smeds, prepares people who are able to combine their understanding of the networking technology with essential business skills and competences.
Our current research is focused on Autonomic Communications and Application Frameworks such as Mobile P2P and Session Control and the Future Internet.
I am also Director of the Master's Programme on Communications Engineering and responsible for International Affairs at the Faculty of ECA .
