Project works

There are two compulsory project works during the course.
You will need 40 points out of total 80 from the two combined to pass.

About grading: Part 1 is worth 30 points and Part 2 is worth 50 points. The points obtained in both parts are summed together to form the grade of the project work. The project grade will be given according to FAIL, -1, 0, +1:

FAIL implies that the project works were not acceptable.
Otherwise the project works will influence your final grade with respect to the exam grade by -1, 0 or +1.
Exceptions are that exam grade 1 and project grade -1 gives final grade 1, and exam grade 5 and project grade +1 gives final grade 5.

Note! The grades for the project works are valid only during the course in question, i.e. one year. You may not take the exam of the course if you have not passed the project works.

Both project works are done in pairs (you cannot change pairs during the course).

Timetable

Exercise classes are on Wednesdays 12-14 o'clock in lecture hall S5, but classes are not every week. The exercise class is of type group reception and the assistant is there to answer your questions on the group works. The main language of the class is Finnish, but you always get guidance in English if you ask for it.

9.3. Deadline for returning Part 1 at 12:00.
11.3. Part 2 comes out
16.3. Exercise class 3

18.4. Deadline for returning Part 2 at 12:00.
