S-38.175 Local Area Networks (S-96) Groupwork

Task

Based on information given and possible questions one should give sensible local area network sollution and also give budget for it.

One can ask more information from customer by sending mail to address htyo175@luuri.hut.fi. Lecturer will not answer questions about work. Normal questions about course can be asked normaly by email Markus.Peuhkuri@hut.fi.

Returning work

One should return the work before 20th January 1997 at 3:45 pm. Location to return is a green box with course name by course bulletin board.

Failure to return work at time gives penalty of one point for each begining 100 hours.

Work contents

One should return a work with:
  1. Title page, with course code and name; title of work; group number and names and student id's of members.
  2. Orginal paper
  3. Actual work, containing description of solution (maybe with drawings), evaluation and comparison of other alternatives and cost estimate. If there are some questions asked from customer, both questions and answers should be included.
