Authentication schemes Here by authentication scheme we refer to the general idea or authentication, i.e., how cryptography is applied and what kind of information is conveyed. The authentication schemes thatwe deal with in this work are weak authentication schemes  (basic authention and digest authentication) symmetric authentication schemes  (3-way handshake and trusted third party) public key authentication
