3.1 For customers (AH)

Internet based services will definitely bring saves for consumers by bringing separate services available in one "packet" or device. If the nature of data networks in the future will really be packet switched, then current circuit switched telephone and TV broadcast networks will become obsolete. Customer has to pay just the fixed Internet connection fee monthly, in most cases.

However, using computers in every home device, or integrating them as a single one, will also bring the problems of computers in your television set. For example, need to boot your toaster every morning wouldn't be appreciated. Bluetooth will bring small data networks in most of the devices. This will increase the possibility to control the status of your home, but will give also increase people's dependency on computers. Monitoring devices will come easier, but in the same time individual people can be also monitored in ways most of the people doesn't even realize nowadays.

Even though people will have to spend less in general telecommunication, as electronic currency grows popularity, there will be more and more commercial services. Currently most of the services are free, and it seems to stay so in the future too. But for quality service you may have to pay extra.
