BW-exercise: There is no BE-case in the bw-section of the exercise. Therefore, you only do two simulations and compare the use of bandwidth with HB- and MS-methods of CAC. VOIP-exercise: In the best effort case the trace-file contains only "exp 201" -packets that have been sent by VOIP-clients that do not ask for permission to send packets. This is the only option in the be-scenario because be-networks do not (by definition) contain any methods of CAC. Therefore, when determining delay distributions et. al. in the BE-case, look for packets that have been sent by "exp 201". In HB and MS-scenarios there are both "exp 200" and "exp 201" packets. THESE SHOULD BE TREATED AS PACKETS BELONGING TO SEPARATE APPLICATIONS. This is because "exp 200" and "exp 201" receive different treatment in the network and mixing them together would distort the distributions. You may, but you are not required to, analyze also the delay distributions with the "exp 201" in MS and HB-scenarios. This might provide you with more inisight to the phenomena in the network.
