        The referate should not be just a short version of the book. It should show deeper understanding of the subject, knowledge of the field. Own views,  justified critic and rich good language are encouraged. Other criteria are e.g. consistent and logical presentation, illustration and layout/appearance of the referate.

        The treatment part of the referate should be 20 to 25 pages long, with font size 12, normal margins and single line spacing. In addition the referate should include a cover page with the authors information, a table of contents, a list of figures and an abstract. A paper copy of the work should be returned with an electronic version on floppy (word 7, html, postscript or  pdf) to the course assistant.

        The language should be English.
