Passing the course

There are three versions to pass this course. You can take it for 1, 2 or 3 credits. The requirements for each of these versions are detailed below. In order to successfully complete the course, you need to have minimum of 8 returned and accepted homeworks out of 10.

1 cr.: You must attend at least 8 of the lectures and do the homeworks for these lectures.
2 cr.: Minimum 8 lectures (with homework) + a literature examination or a book summary
3 cr.: Minimum 8 lectures (with homework) + a literature examination and a book summary

In all (1, 2 or 3 credit version), the grading is passed/failed.)

The examination: See information about the exam book from here. The view is semi-technical. The next exam will be held on Monday 15.12.2003 16-19 in lecture hall S4. Remember to register via wwwTOPI.

The last (2nd) exam will be held on Monday 2.2.2004 from 16 to 19 in lecture hall S4.
